A unique and exceptional tobogganing area!
The "Ripa" means "slide" in local dialect, a term that suits this natural toboggan run, which is 4km long and has a 600m vertical drop. Since winter 2010, the Réallon ski area has boasted a tobogganing area called La Ripaaa, the only one of its kind in the Hautes-Alpes department. The run starts at the top of the resort, at the foot of the famous Aiguilles de Chabrières, which rise to an altitude of 2403m and offer unforgettable views of the Lac de Serre-Ponçon, and ends at the snow front. Alone, accompanied or in a group, you'll set off for around 45 minutes, equipped with a helmet, a number and, of course, your toboggan, for an unforgettable experience. Practical info: from 7 to 12 years old, you'll need to be accompanied by an adult. And for an even greater thrill, Réallon offers an original descent under the stars. Come down the slope at night with a headlamp or in the moonlight for unforgettable memories!
A toboggan race, but above all, maximum thrills...
The idea of creating a luge race on this ideal playground was born in 2015. Named after the luge track, the "RIPAAA" Race takes place every year at the end of the winter season, usually on the second weekend in March. This race, which has become a Réallon must-do, uses the sledging area for a 4km descent, with a succession of hairpins, banked turns and bumps for maximum thrills.
Le programme où prime le plaisir de la glisse est le suivant ( 14 ans minimum:
• 15h30 : remise des dossards et des luges
• 16h30 : embarquement à la remontée Le Clos des Aurans
• 17h30 : départ MASS START au sommet des télésièges
• 20h30 : concert Haut Buëch Night Fever à la salle de la Rama
Infos pratiques : tarif plein : 15€ / pers + 2.70€ d’assurance (conseillé).
Tarif réduit : 7,50€ / pers (soit – 50%, si vous détenez un forfait de ski de 3h minimum en cours de validité ou un forfait saison. Les forfaits heures non consécutives ne sont pas pris en compte).
