La Ripaaa
La Ripaaa is the name of Réallon's natural toboggan run with a vertical drop of over 600 metres, from the top of the resort to the snow front - a unique experience!
La Ripaaa is accessible at times and days defined by the resort (see practical info below), accompanied by a professional. The turns are technical, and there's a real risk of collisions and going off piste if you don't use all your driving skills!
The trail begins at the right-hand end of the resort, after a few dozen meters' walk to the summit, where you can take in the exceptional view of Lac de Serre-Ponçon, the Gapençaise plain and Haute-Provence. The Ripaaa then passes beneath the impressive Aiguilles dolomitiques de Réallon to return to the resort via the hillside reserve.

Meet at the lift ticket offices 1/2 hour before each departure.

1 equipment rental including: 1 toboggan, 1 helmet, 1 race number + 1 ticket for the 2 chairlifts to the top of the ski area + 1 toboggan run.
- 20.50 € for the driver (+ 12 years old)
- 12 € for accompanying child (aged 7 to 12)
Reduced rate for holders of a valid ski pass:
- 17.50 € for the driver (+ 12 years old)
- 10 € for accompanying child (aged 7 to 12)

Children's toboggan area:
A short slope to the right of the Courtier ski lift is available for the very young, under parental responsibility.
Sledges can be hired from the resort's toboggan hire companies, just a few metres from the snow front.
Sledding in Réallon is 100% natural!
La Ripaaa, which means " slide " in local dialect, is a fitting name for this 4km-long, 600-meter-high toboggan run.
From the top of the resort, at 2146m above sea level, alone or accompanied, you set off on this trail of hairpins, banked turns and bumps for around forty minutes of thrills, slides and fun all the way to the snow front.
To get to the start, each participant will need a helmet, a race number and, of course, a sled.
The trail is accessible to children aged 7 and over, but children between 7 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
For even more thrills, under the stars and in the moonlight, equipped with a headlamp attached to your helmet, you can hurtle down the night-time version of the toboggan run. Guaranteed fun and thrills!
Since 2015, a mythical luge race has taken place every late winter: the Réallon Ripaaa Race!!! This event is a timed sporting competition rewarding the best competitors in the various categories men / women / juniors.
